This guide not only covers the Giant's Causeway but most of County Antrim and was first published in 1823. There is also a very nice 1982 reprint by Davidson Books Spa, Ballynahinch, Co Down

This is a "new", updated edition of Wright's 1823 guide
The Giant's Causeway - a poem
This poem is in two parts and is 68 pages long. In addition there is a preface of 27 pages and notes which take a further 66 pages. It was first published in 1811
Black's Guide

Black's Guide to Belfast, the Giant's Causeway and the North of Ireland was published in 1871. The pages relating to the Giant's Causeway are from page 378 onwards
John McKinley
These poetic sketches, descriptive of the Giants' Causeway, and the surrounding area are unusual in that they were written by a local man, John McKinley of Dunsevrick. They were published in 1819
